Discovering unidentifiable family photos led artist Tracy Greenwalt to general collecting of old black-and-white images. Drawn to the idea that the people and places are forgotten, Tracy combines elements of nature, historical references and symbolism in an attempt to create her own narrative – with the goal that the viewer will create a unique narrative as well
Tracy Greenwalt received a BA from Ohio University which was followed by a successful career as a freelance artist specializing in wildlife illustration. She now works full time as an artist from her studio in London, Ohio.
Tracy’s piece “Nature’s First Green is Gold” will be featured in Art for Life on September 15. See more of her work at tracygreenwalt.com.
