Morris Jackson is a local self-taught artist. He has been exhibiting his work for 25 years, and was drawing in private for about 15 years before that. His honors include an Individual Award of Excellence from the Ohio Arts Council, and Best in Show in the 2016 Ohio Art League Fall Exhibition.

The title of the drawing, “Eros Turannos,” is taken from an Edward Arlington Robinson poem of the same name.
